They make you go round and round, make you stand in long waiting queue even in off season and when u reach the temple mandap/gabhara the guards pull you out faster when before you join ur hands/pray/bow. Hardly u get few seconds to see the goddess idol after standing on the queue for long hours. Temple have been made a big business hub. Money giving starts right from parking, taking Prasad, making darshan pass, giving beggars, dakshina peti to pandits, absolutely upset on visit. I have decided not to visit any temple after visiting Tuljapur. Rather I could do some productive work instead of standing in long queue, pay for myself, my entertainment instead of profiting the temple business.

You need to get photo pass for free darshan or paid darshan, pass is compulsory. For paid pass charges are Rs.100/- per person and there is also Abhishek darshan pass amount is Rs.50/- all the lines are separate. Paid darshan timing is between 11am to 6.30pm. There are lot of steps inside the temple to reach yo main darshan Mandel.

This is one of the oldest and important temple in Maharashtra. It has various chapters in history and plays significant spiritual role. One can travel to this temple from various places but the two easiest, I have tried is through Osmanabad and Solapur. As far as connectivity and accessibility is concerned Solapur provides with better options and easy access. One can hire four wheelers or bus or tempo traveller and reach Tuljapur. Temple is around 45 to 55 mins away distancing 43-47kms from Solapur. Charges differ depending upon mode of transport used. . Upon reaching out, one has to get temple pass which is mandatory for every one entering the temple. This mandatory pass is for no charge however queues from this pass takes around out 1 to 2 hours depending upon rush in temple. There is another paid pass for Rs. 100 which gives access to smaller queue. . Management of temple is not that great and u may find many bogus people trying to fool around stating to take you directly inside temple. Temple authorities has not authorised any such people with any such powers so please beware of such people. . Food around is ok but not great. . Overall it's okay but will be great if management is improved. . Yet most importantly the Temple and Godess are superb and blissful.

Jai Jagdamba! Goddess Tulja Bhavani matha (Tuljamai) temple is located in Tuljapur taluk of Osmanabad District in Maharashtra. The temple has many historical and mythological stories past to recent Emperor Chatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj, who had blessings of Maa and it's said that he was presented a Sword frok Tuljamai matha when he became so powerful for the invaders to defeat him. The then emperor Shivaji Maharaj has undertaken huge development activities towards temple of Tuljapur Bhavani matha and that's why many pilgrims, devotees and followers claim the sacred vibrations and sense of Matha can be experienced here directly. We have regular and frequent transportation towards Tuljapur from Latur city, Osmanabad town, Solapur and Pandharpur. The accomation and Facilitation would be taken care by pujaris here with very minimum fares which also includes Abhishekam pooja of Goddess Ambamai matha. There are lot of historical and tourist attractions near by which are also very famous to visit.

Entrance- There are two entrances, one the regular from front and other from back door from where Shivaji Maharaj used to Visit. Car parking- From both entrance car parking is available, from back door there is narrow road so need to be careful. Free parking available as well Darshan- With new security and setup, one has to collect a pass either free or VIP to get inside the Darshan. There is a separate building outside of the main entrance where you get these passes, they take your pic before handing you the passes and then these passes will be collected and verified prior Darshan If you don’t want to wait for longer line then go for VIP passes which is 100₹/ person which is very quicker option. The VIP pass has one advantage, Darshan can be taken from 5 ft of the Devi idol where as the free pass has to take Darshan from 12 feet since there is separate line for that I won’t suggest the Visit with Bhadji who offer saree and oati, they charge you more and all those things will be sold out again, it’s all business. Prasad- Ladd is available for purchase inside the temple 20₹ for 2 ladoos. Tuljapur in general is not a clean city however temple they have tried to keep clean.

An ancient temple with modern facilities and disciplines. Lots of things happening here at the same time which one can observe who is socially aware and knows about the rituals in Hinduism. But there are street hawkers and other small merchants and pandits who ask for money by offering some superficial service. One needs to take the Entrance Pass to seek darshana or even to queue for it. Free Passes are available. Pandits offer express entry saying that it'll take 5 hours for normal darshna etc. But never believe in them as they are just extorting money out of you. The least time to wait in queue for darshana is between 30-40 minutes. But during Navratri utsav it can be in hours.

Very divine. Flood of devotees. Avoid visiting on Sundays. You have to be at the darshan counter at 4am or earlier. It will take 4to5 hours for darshan. Online pandits are available. They charge Rs.1100 for abhishek. But you are permitted through the queue only. Online Pandits keep ready everything needed for abhishek and they perform closer to the deity. That was an advantage.Gondhal charges are separate. Everyone appear with lot of kumkum on the forehead. If you want to avoid waiting in long queue try to visit early in the morning around 5 to 7 am because afterwards you have to spend at least 1-2 may be more waiting in queue. There is also another option if u r late or in hurry u can buy vip passes any of the bramhin over there will help you with around 250-500 rs will required for passes. Rooms are available for 2-3 hours also if u just want to have a bath or something charges will be around 200 to 300 rs for a room near the temple. The temple is at walking distance from the bus stop. If the rickshawala are asking more than 30 rs to drop you just say no to him.
