Tuljapur is the one if the 3 1/2 Shaktee pithas of this Maharastra state, as per the Hindu mythology this temple has Goddess Sati's head when it fall on mother earth after Shivji's quarrel with their father in law. Later, this temple has been built by Shivaji maharaj and now maintained by State govt. Recently temple authority has built queue system to manage rush which takes lot of time to complete. Security personnel are so rude and priests prefers greedy.

Campus smells of public toilet.. Neither clean nor organized.. You have to wait in 3 lines 1 for pass 1 for abhishek after pass 1 for free or paid darshan.. And people loot old people here by telling them lies of all the good that will happen if they do this and that..

This temple easily accessible from Solapur city needs no promotion.... But now there is a bit Chang in logistics... One need to register ( Do it early morning) to do BHOGI/ABHISHEK/MUKHA AND ALANKAR DARSHAN. it's well organised by temple. This system avoids overcrowding /stampede and queue jumping by unruly folks. Lots of lodges hotels and restaurants are available to suit every pocket.... But having a lunch... Which is offered to the goddess Sri Tuljabhavani by your family BRAHMIN.. In his house is an experience in itself for some authentic Maharatrian food.

The Tulja Bhavani Temple is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Bhavani. The town has received much notice during past centuries since the temple has always enjoyed a special association with the Bhosale clan to which Chhatrapati Shivajibelonged. Goddess Bhavani was the family deity of the Bhosale clan. As the Goddess Bhavani is the deity of many people from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Telangana, they come walking in during the Dasara Festival to worship the Goddess Bhavani. Every year after Navaratri, on the eve of Kojagiri pournima, many devotees cover long distances to reach the city. Huge crowds are drawn to the temple for worshipping the goddess Bhavani. The temple-town of Pandharpur, the Dharashiv caves, and the fort of Naldurg all lie within easy reach. 🙏 Tulja bhawani mataki Jai 🙏

This place is very religious and spiritual, the actual temple and maintenance is pretty good. Only problem you can face is the crowd, it's very very crowded especially on holidays. The car parking is also very far from temple so you gotta walk a bit, but it feels okay as there are stalls on both sides of the road. Overall a nice place to visit on the way, but not suitable as a main holiday or picnic spot.

Place of faith and worship. We visited the temple enroute Solapur to Hyderabad. Thousands of pilgrims line up in a very long queue which winds through various buildings. Well organised. Carry plenty of bottled water. It could take over 3 hours. Parking facility available. Plenty of eateries and hotels. Almost all are run of the mill. Better to stay in Solapur.

One of the most religious n important place in Maharashtra. Overcrowded , usually takes 2-3 hrs for Darshan through free passes. IT IS MANDATORY TO TAKE PASSES EITHER FREE OR PAID , OUTSIDE THE TEMPLE TO ENTER THE TEMPLE. Paid passes costs 100/- per head , and it is free for children below 10 yrs . Water facility is available . Cleanliness is better now but still needs improvement. One can reach here by Pune - Solapur Expressway.
