Tuljabhavani temple at Tuljapur is very famous temple from age old and Goddesses Tuljabhavani is worshipped here. It has ancient importance with Indian kings like Shivaji Maharaj. It's located in Maharashtra. Temple has accomodation. You need to take pass for entry into the temple premises.

This is being one of the favourite place to visit as it is our 'Kuldaivat' now there are lot of improvements done by the trusts and due to new processes it becomes easier to take Darshan. No long waiting queue but in case of Abhishek you have to go a day before to get a pass for it and it seems bit lengthy as earlier it wasn't the case. And the Pujaris who arranges the stay and food are awesome and I like the way they prepare food and cleanliness. Everyone must visit at least once in a year.

It is nice place to visit. Nice devotional atmosphere here. Now a days it is easy to visit here. Transportation is available. Distance between Tuljapur to Osmanabad is 24 km by Road along with an aerial distance of 22 km. No direct flights or trains or buses are available between Tuljapur to Osmanabad. And near from the tuljapur bus stand. Cleanness is good.

This place is very crowded, to get the blessings its very difficult. Please be careful when you have family with you and small kids, they might get lost in the crowds. Just a suggestion, nothing to be scared of anything. People are friendly and helpful.

The second among the 'Shaktipeeths' is Tulja Bhavani of Tuljapur. It is the family deity of the Bhosale Royal family, the Yadavs and of countless numbers of families belonging to different castes. The founder of the Maratha kingdom, Shivaji Maharaj always visited the temple to seek her blessings. It is believed that the Goddess gave him a sword - 'the Bhawani sword' - for success in his expeditions. The history of the temple has been mentioned in the Skanda Purana.

Reached by bus from Solapure within 45 min. The journey was pleasant. Highway was excellent. Temple is near to bus stop 10 to 15 min by walk. It is a small town. Various types of shops medicines, flowers, hotels, lodge, beer, toys, tea are available near temple. Two types if entry free and paid are available. Visited in evening after 7pm. No rush for free pass darshan. Authorities kept temple area clean but guthaka and tobacco spots are visible at few places thanks to indian mentalities. Completed darshan within 15 min with no rush at all. For special darshan and poojas it takes 1 hours. Main entrance was decorated nicely with lighting. Overall pleasant experience.
