YDM rated 3/5 a year ago Good queuing system ......But there are lot of people like from the ""store keepers to pujari ""they are seated to just grab money from prayers .......So it's depends upon you how to treat them ...😅better is that don't hire any pujari ......And ask about price of pooja thali before buying . 👉👉👉 Otherwise from construction and mythological part of view the temple has its own importance ...😊
Yogesh Deshmane rated 1/5 a year ago Horrible.. God is being sold by so called Dalals.. Maharastra government should look into it. We faced lot of inconvinience by people inside temple. They were asking money every ritual.
If you go to shegaon everything is systematic and by rules. Its really disappointing in Tuljapur.

(#श्रीक्षेत्र तुळजा भवानी देवस्थान) is atemple dedicated to the goddess Bhavani......
The second among the 'Shaktipeeths' is Tulja Bhavani of Tuljapur.
It is the family deity of the Bhosale Royal family, the Yadavs and of countless numbers of families belonging to different castes. The founder of the Maratha kingdom,
Shivaji Maharaj always visited the temple to seek her blessings. It is believed that the Goddess gave him a sword - 'the Bhawani sword' - for success.

Temple is old and build in hemadpanti architecture style.huge temple and it's campus located at tuljapur.
Name derived from goddess tulja bhavani.many buses ply from solapur and osmanabad with frequency of half n hour.road is 4 lane highway from solapur measuring around 40 kms.
Temple witnesses huge rush of devotees during vacations and weekends.always go for paid darshan pass which is just 100 per person.still it will take more than 1 hour to take darshan.for normal line time is 3 to 4 hrs.
Last bus to solapur is at 11.30.

Good queue management. Temple and entire area inside temple premises was clean. Security is good, seen management like Pandharpur Vitthal temple. The security personals just simply ask to move on without touching anybody and give enough time for darshan
Aakanksha Chaudhari rated 3/5 a year ago Very Nice heritage...!!! As expected...there is lot of business men in outfit of Pandit...Who insist you to pay an amount and they claim that they will do some puja and VIP darshan ...There is also one cheap thing..."Paid darshan" you pay ...And you dont have to stand in line for hours...You will redirected infront of the god figure..😁😁 there are lots of pirates dressed as a pandit...
Vishal Kawle rated 5/5 a year ago Every devotee will reach there to see maa from very long distance but the management and security while darshan, they will just push the person forward the moment we entered in main Temple, they don't even think person fall down or get hurt! This should be controlled guys! I agree there will be crowd bcz it's devotional place but it doesn't mean to treat every devotee as rice packet and throw a side! It really hurt and rest other everything is awesome

Naksh Gaming rated 5/5 a year ago Tuljapur, the one amongst three and half Shakti Peethas (abodes of cosmic powers) of the state, is situated in Maharashtra, wherein resides the Mother Goddess Tulja Bhavani. She is also fondly revered as Aai (mother) Ambabai, Jagdamba, Tukai by her devotees who throng in millions to Tuljapur for her Darshan and for seeking her blessings. As a divine Mother, she protects her children from the sins of evil desires, selfishness, jealousy, hatred, anger and ego. At the same time, TuljaBhavani symbolizes the power of the Supreme Being that maintains moral order and righteousness in the universe.

People visit this place from various places some most majority is from Maharastra , Andhra , karnatak. Most of maharashtrians and people from south india. If you are religious person visit this and if you don't have time to wait in quee then you can pay for the direct darshan. (Pay for direct darshan is bit controversial ).

Sumit Pawar rated 5/5 a year ago Great management. Good temple.
Prasanna Kumar rated 3/5 a year ago I don't have any issue with temple and god. Temple is clean and have made very good arrangements in all floor for toilets, water so that devotees don't have any sort of problem. Easily the crowd moves and may take 1-3 hrs depending on crowd.
My main concern is for poor devotees. Here few frauds exists in the name of false priests. They will approach in parking lot itself. (They will be wearing red shawl). They will convince you that they will take you to darshan within an Hr, else it will take long. They go on telling, we can offer saree to goddess. Believing them if we say yes they will take money, will give a number asking to call after entering temple. A person will receive phone, handover a Saree, coconut etc in a thali, will say come in queue and call after reaching a particular window. By the time we reach there it will almost end of queue, nearing goddess. There they will come, take saree and offer to goddess.
Its just annoying and don't fall scape goats as I did.
Temple offers free tickets and no special darshan available. Hence follow temple rules. Don't believe in false priest's. Don't lose money.

Vishwajith L rated 3/5 a year ago Many legends are associated with the temple. One legend involves a demon, Matanga who was wreaking havoc upon the gods and humans. Unable to find any solution, they turned to Lord Brahma for help, and upon his advice turned to Goddess Shakti, who took up the form of a destroyer and powered by the other (Sapta) Mata Varaahi, Brahmi, Vaishnavi, Kaumaari Indraani and Saambhavi, vanquished the demon Matanga and restored peace. Legend also states that Bhavani finished another demon that had taken up the disguise of a buffalo (Mahisha), and took shelter on the Yamunachala Hill which is part of Balaghat mountain range. The Tuljabhawani temple is located on this hill. Another legend mentions the story of a sage known as "Kardam" After his death his wife "Anubuti" had performed a penance at the banks of river "mandakini " for Bhavani mata to look after her infant child. While performing the penance the demon known "Kukur" tried to disturb her penance during which the Goddess came to the aid of "Anubuti" and killed the demon "Kukur". From that day onwards the Goddess Bhavani came to be known as Tulja Bhavani.
The main entrance of the temple bears the name of Sardar Nimbalkar. The other two entrances are named after the parents of Shivaji Maharaj, that is Raja Shahaji, and Rajmata Jijau. As one enters the Sardar Nimbalkar entrance, there is a temple dedicated to Markandeya Rishi on the right. After descending the stairs, one sees the main Tulja Temple. There is yagna kund (Holy Fire pit) in front of this temple. On the floor near two main gates (Raja Shahaji Mahadwar and Rajmata Jijau main gate), there are two libraries named, Shree Santh Dnyaneshwar Dharmik Library and Shree Tukaram Dharmik Library. After alighting from the stairs, there is `Gomukh Theerth` on the right side and `Kalakh`, also known as `Kallol Theerth` on the left side. Before entering the Sanctum sanctorum of the Goddess, devotees take a dip here in these theerths (Shallow tanks of "holy" water). There are also Amruth Kund and a Datta temple on the premises. A Siddhi Vinayak temple is situated on the left side of the main gate whilst on the right, there is a temple of Aadishakti, Aadimata Matangadevi. A temple of goddess Annapurna is also present in the main complex.
The idol of Goddess Tulja Bhawani is believed by her devotees to be `swayambhu` ("self-manifested" or "that which is created by its own accord"). The high granite idol is three-foot tall, with eight arms holding weapons, and bearing the head of the slain demon Mahishasura. The Goddess is also known as Tulaja, Turaja, Tvarita and Amba.
The Goddess is kuldevi (clan goddess) for Maratha clans of Maharashtra.
