Prabhu Joshi rated 5/5 a year ago One can peace and the Vibes of festivities throughout the year. The place is Crowed ,yet so soothing . The best visiting hour would be morning between 5-6Am because the pilgrims are less and People can have darshan Withing 20-30mins and save time for later in the day. If You are likely to visit after 10am -11Am it would take minimum a hour and half and that too depending upon the season of visit. After Dussehra it would be ideal Time of the year only depending on personal preferance , yet the rush remains the same throughout the year. !🙏 the more you stay at this place the more you get attached to its Holiness 🙏 . Jai Bhavani . Aai Raaja Ude ude ! 🙏

Prashant Pol rated 5/5 11 months ago Tuljabhavani Temple (Marathi: श्री क्षेत्र तुळजा भवानी देवस्थान) is a Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Bhavani. It is located in Tuljapur in Osmanabad district of Maharashtra and is considered as one of the 51 Shakti Pithas. It is situated 45 km from Solapur. The temple was built in c. 12th century CE.
The second among the 'Shaktipeeths' is Tulja Bhavani of Tuljapur. It is the family deity of the Bhosale Royal family, the Yadavs and of countless numbers of families belonging to different castes. The founder of the Maratha kingdom, Shivaji Maharaj always visited the temple to seek her blessings. It is believed that the Goddess gave him a sword - 'the Bhawani sword' - for success in his expeditions. The history of the temple has been mentioned in the Skanda Purana.

GANESH GAVALI rated 5/5 a year ago Believed to be built somewhere in the 12th century, Tulja Bhavani Temple is an important Hindu pilgrimage center in Maharashtra. It is said that any mention of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is incomplete without the mention of his tremendous faith in the goddess Tulja Bhavani. Not on Shivaji, many royal families were the firm believers of Tulja Bhavani. Besides, Tulja Bhavani is believed to be one of the ‘Shaktipeethas’ of Goddess Durga. Moreover, many royal families of Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Karnataka are firm believers of Tulja Bhavani.
The history behind the temple goes like this: To disturb the feelings of Hindus and provoke a battle, Afzal Khan destroyed the image of Tulja Bhavani. Therefore due to an act of retribution, Afzal Khan was killed at Pratapgad. History of the temple is briefly mentioned in ‘Skanda Purana.
