Tuljabhavani temple is the only Shaktipeeth where Devi never sleeps for 344 days, she sleeps for 21 days whole year round this 21 days are divided in three parts , Devi sleeps 8 days before Navaratri as Yognidra where Mahisha starts troubling so Bramha, Vishnu, Mahesh try and pray her to wake up for 8 days and on ninth day She woke up then she ready herself for the fight with Mahishasur this Nidrakaal of 8 days prior to Shaardiya Navaratri is called as Ghor Nidra where after waking Bhavani takes a Ghor rupa and fights with Mahishasur. The second nidrakaal is called as Shram Nidra , where Bhawani continuously fighting with Mahishasur and slayed him Ashtami after the Seemollanghan Vijayotsav Devi gets Tired and goes for sleep for 5 days till Kojagiri pournima this Nidra kaal is called as Shram NidrA for this Nidra , a special chandan sandalwood bed is made at Ahmednagar which is considered as Tuljabhawani's maternal home is made and brought each year on which Devi sleeps for 5 days The Last Nidra is from Poush shukla pratipada to Shukla Ashtami , where Devi sleeps for 8 days and wakes up 9 th day this Nidra is called as "Moha nidra" where this 9 days are equal to 9 months of pregnancy and when she wakes up is equal to Navsrijan new creation In Ghor Nidra and Moha nidra Goddess sleeps on her Silver Manchaki ie bed and for Shram Nidra Aaisaheb takes rest on her Chandan Bed.

Hindu Temple, Construction is too old, best, Goddess Idol is pleasant. Daily appearance of Goddess Idol seen by at least 25000 devotees. Tuljapur in Osmanabad district is famous due to this temple. There is one myth that Goddess revealed herself from stone idol and offer BHAVANI sword to CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI MAHARAJ. Shivaji Maharaj (King of Maharashtra) pray of Goddess and start to create his kind empire.

Tuljabhavani is called in Marathi as Adimaya. The temple is very old temple. And every narrator there is a very big festival of Goddess Bhavani. For peace and our holiness we have to visit this temple.

The temple is now cleaner than ever before. The new coupon system has been started recently. If you simply want to have 'mukhdarshan' or 'dharmdarshan', you may opt for free pass or you may opt for paid pass of Rs. 50 for immediate darshan right near to idol in less than 5 mins. The best time to visit temple is about 4 in the morning. The morning alankar pooja is worth watching. The pics attached are the entry, the darshan waiting hall for free pass and the temple.
