Its a hindu temple of godess Tulaja Bhavani. One of the most ancient most visited temple in maharasthra. History says that Maa Tulaja Bhavani came in dream of king Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and blessed him with his ashirvad.

Goddess of the great Maratha Empire. It was built in 12th century! Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj always use to visit this temple. One must take blessings for at lest once in his life.

The trustees of this temple should learn from Tirupathi's TTD on how to maintain cleanliness and manage crowd. Moreover getting an affordable hotel is a big question there and no adequate public toilets

This temple is kuldevat of Maharashtra. Also historic place of chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj period. In this temple one pond situated and two big doors name one is Shahaji raje praveshdwar is main door and another is Shivaji raje praveshdwar is back side door.

Best experienced during non busy days. I love sitting at the top of the stairs just outside the Mandir soaking in the atmosphere and the vibe. I particularly like the drums they play. Very overwhelming experience every time. This is a Shakti-Peeth. Has legendary significance. The feeling of elation is priceless. You do need to overlook the mundane to appreciate this.

My visit was great except a few hiccups! Listing the pros and cons below: Pros: Very helpful people. Plenty options to stay around the temple vicinity though they are modest. Though it was crowded, darshan was possible within 2 hours. Close from Osmanabad, rickshaws and buses available to reach Tuljapur. If you are good at bargaining, they charge 300 Rs. from Osmanabad station to Tulja Bhavani Temple. Cons: Tuljapur runs on cash and Paytm. ATMs are unreliable. Keep ample cash with you. Temple has wannabe 20 something priests who stalk you for paid pooja and darshan. Do not expect fancy food. Food needs improvement. Hotels in the temple vicinity are modest, do not expect a fancy hotel room.

Tulja bhawani temple at tuljapur with proper arrangement for pilgrims.. Free entry passes.. Rack system to keep your shoes /sandals etc.. People not only from maharashtra but from karnataka ; Andhra Pradesh ; Rajasthan u0026 UP are coming in plenty to take darshan of goddess Tulja bhawani mata.. Temple has 4 doors on each direction on which name given those are of great Maratha emperor's family members name Shivaji maharaj ; jijau mata u0026 shahaji maharaj The famous warrior slogan Jay bhawani Jay Shivaji ; from that bhawani is nothing but goddess Tulja bhawani.. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
